Terms & Conditions - $1,000 Cash Draw

Member Cash Draw Terms & Conditions

  1. The competition is open to residents of Australia only (excluding South Australia) who are current financial members of a Global One Mobile Entertainment subscription service at the time of the cash draw.
  2. An individual may become a member by subscribing to one of Global One Mobile Entertainment's services via a website, a print or television advertisement.
  3. Entries will be recorded via the Point of Subscription (P.O.S) system.
  4. All entries shall become the property of the Promoter and no information as to the quantity of entries shall be provided to any Member. Entry details may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
  5. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are ineligible to win the prize.
  6. The competition commences at 9.00am AEST on Monday, 29th September 2008 and closes at 9.00am AEST on Monday, 28th September 2009.
  7. The electronic prize draw will take place at Global One Mobile Entertainment, 100 William Street, East Sydney NSW 2011; at 12.00pm AEST every Monday (or the next business day in the advent of a public holiday). The 1st prize draw being drawn 12.00pm Monday 6th October 2008 with the last prize draw being drawn at 12.00pm Monday 28th September 2009. The drawn result is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The winner will be notified where possible by mobile telephone on the day of the draw, and in writing as far as practicable within two business days and no more than five business days after the date of the draw. The name of the winners will be published in "The Australian" newspaper on these dates 03/11/2008, 01/12/2008, 05/01/2009, 02/02/2009, 02/03/2009, 06/04/2009, 04/05/2009, 01/06/2009, 06/07/2009, 03/08/2009, 07/09/2009. 05/10/2009. Names of winners will also appear on http://www.andthewinneris.com.au/
  9. The winner consents to their name and town/suburb of residence being published by the Promoter as condition of acceptance of the prize. Further information will be published only with the permission of the winner.
  10. The unclaimed prize draws will take place on the 1st Monday 3 months after the original prize draw (or the next business day in the advent of a public holiday). The 1st unclaimed prize draw will take place Monday 5th January 2009 and no earlier due to the Global One Mobile Entertainment office being closed for Christmas and New Year holiday. The last unclaimed prize draw will take place Monday 11th January 2010 and no earlier due to the Global One Mobile Entertainment office being closed for Christmas and New Year holiday.
  11. The first entry drawn will win $1,000. The prize will be delivered in the form of a cheque made payable to the winner. There will be 52 separate draws over 52 weeks. The total prize value is $52,000.
  12. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, subject to the approval of those authorities which have issued permits for the conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, including to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  13. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
  14. The Promoter will take all necessary steps to ensure that entries are properly recorded and stored, but will accept no liability if an entry is not recorded or is lost.
  15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from or in connection with the competition, any omission to enter a person into the draw, acceptance of the prize or the prize itself, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  16. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Information will not be shared with any third parties without the Members express permission. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. As per the relevant Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
  17. The Promoter is Global One Mobile Entertainment Pty Ltd (ABN 73 090 119 430), 100 William Street, East Sydney, New South Wales 2011.
